Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be an experienced player to come to camp?
No. Our camps are designed for all experience levels, from newer players to advanced recreational athletes.
Who are the coaches?
Our coaching staff has over 100 years of combined college, juniors and professional playing and coaching experience.
What is the coach-to-player ratio?
We maintain small groups whenever possible to maximize instruction and repetitions. We usually have 4 on-ice coaches with a max of 40 registrants. Coaches will spend lots of time going into details as a big group, small groups and one-on-one.
Will I receive feedback?
Yes. Campers receive feedback on and off the ice highlighting strengths and areas for improvement. We will be doing video of player's skills and then breaking them down during the Coach's Corner video sessions.
What should players bring to camp?

Battle Born Hockey School has done camps in California, Nevada and Utah. Why only Utah in 2026?
With change in ownership from Nevada to Utah, we have decided to focus our camps for 2026 in the growing hockey state of Utah only. There is a chance that Battle Born Hockey School will return to both California and Nevada in 2027 or in the future.
Who can attend Battle Born Hockey School
18+ Adults (born after 06/24/2008)Our camps are designed for players of any gender and all skill levels, from beginners to advanced athletes. However, the camp is more targeted toward beginners to intermediate players. Advanced players are always welcome.
How do I enroll for a camp at Battle Born Hockey School?

Cancellation Policy:

We understand that plans can change. To help us manage resources and avoid last-minute costs, we offer the following refund structure for camp cancellations:

100% Refund – Cancellations made 30 days or more before the first day of camp

50% Refund – Cancellations made between 29 and 7 days before the first day of camp
-
No Refund – Cancellations made within 7 days of the first day of camp
