About Coach ADAM BARBA

Coach Barba was born and raised in Reno, Nevada and started playing roller hockey at the age of 6 before moving full time to ice hockey. 

Coach Barba played AA/AAA on a team based in Northern California before playing D1 New England High School Prep Hockey for The Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, CT. 

After playing a year of Jr. A hockey, Coach Barba spent several summers coaching hockey schools around the country for both adults and children. 

Currently, Coach Barba is working for his family businesses as a property manager and as the General Manager of Sierra Sid’s Casino.  In his free time, Coach Barba enjoys mountain bike riding, dirt bike riding, and plays defense on the Reno Ice Raiders.
